2020 Tenuta Luce 'Luce' Toscana IGT 750ml CC along with darker molasses andA project started in the 1990s by the Frescobaldi and Mondavi family, now run by Lamberto Frescobaldi in Montalcino, Tuscany. This wine is a 50 50 blend of Merlot and Sangiovese, with vines planted on the southern slopes at altitudes of up to 420 metres and complex soils. The wine spends 2 years ageing in French barriques, 80% of which are new. This wine is ripe and concentrated and displays rich bramble fruits and plenty of savoury and sweet spice.
