For me this is the perfect example of her work and one of the best pieces I have seen come to market in recent memory

And I think that is the case because she continually used a fairly basic palette and always kept to that sleek

almost popcorn knit texture with a high turtle neck

1940s Rare Larger Adrian Pocket Jacket designer-michaele-vollbracht Item# S426What an amazing piece! Adrian Originals are not common to find and this is a quirky and wonderful example of his work. Made of a finely ribbed crepe, the jacket is cut boxy and has a nod to a western feel to it in the way the back seaming has been done and then that quirky Adrian touch in those amazing pockets set at the front. The lower two are flapped hip pockets but the ones above are just wonderful 4 little rounded top set pockets all on an angle.
