Barbecue Bob - Complete Recorded Works 1929-1930 Volume 3 Format:CD brings all 20 compositions togetherThe booming 12 string guitar, wryly funny lyrics and sheer drive of Barbecue Bob endeared him to two generations of blues fans, his contemporary black record buying public & the later white audience of the Fifties and Sixties. His songs included social comment & pathos along with the jokes & he would try his hand at anything, singing spirituals, playing impressive slide & backing other singers.
