The Lone Hawthorn "Smooth Branch" Small Batch Irish Whiskey Wines roasted pork tenderloinOur friends in Ireland have come up with a very special cask finish for this wonderful blended whiskey. The whisky is matured in equal parts in former bourbon, rye and port casks. The Rye barrels were also "soaked" with stout beer from a local brewery before being filled. The result is a spicy whiskey with notes of dark fruit and vanilla and a pleasant sweetness.
