1870s CDV of Murderer Edward Stokes taxidermy offering exactly as foundOriginal CDV of Stokes. Edward Stokes was a business associate of Big Jim Fisk who had a mistress named Josie Mansfield. Stokes wooed her away from Fisk, and the pair later tried to extort money from Fisk. Failing that, Stokes shot Fisk and killed him. CDV is about 4" x 2. 5" with blank, clean back, and is in very good or better antique condition.
