This is the socket that's on the inside of the R8 that the front panel attaches too it maybe interesting if someone wants to construct an extension lead and have your recorder a few metres apart as this could be mounted in a box and then you need find or already have the 12 pin connector plug

of course this is not visible from the front

This is the D connector Leads to the IDC connectors lead plus a small idc to idc and another molex lead set sold as a bundle
