2022 Giaconda Nantua 'Les Deux' Shiraz 750ml Balnaves of Coonawarra Showcasing brightBright red cherry and roasted beetroot compete with exotic spices of white pepper, cinnamon, and sandalwood. There is a hint of briar and stem influence with damp undergrowth notes adding to an evolving bouquet. The palate is soft and creamy. A mid weight wine with fine tannins and a cleansing acid spine ensuring freshness. It's one of those wines that clearly falls into the camp of shiraz but wanting to masquerade as a pinot. Delightfully quaffable.
