Fire Whale Sapphire Ring 10k yellow gold solid10k yellow goldA bit of a silly name for this one, but she kind of named herself. I hand carved this piece, pulling inspiration from the kelp forests on the west coast. The flowing movement, the swell of the water, and the warm, rich amber like tones the kelp colours can pull. After polishing Carla and I clearly saw an abstracted whale in the texture of the metal, and the colour of the sapphire looks so bright and fiery in the sterling silver so surprise to us all
