The multiple plies make the strand quite round and provide a slightly pebbly look which transfers very nicely into the finished garment

These were kettle-dyed a tonal medium grey

with a sheen to die for

Overall they are a very dark smoky purple

WORSTED: Approximately 115g 210 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 4 ply worsted weight yarn. This is a new base from a local mill which will be replacing my other worsted bases. These were kettle dyed with washes of teal, spruce, green and navy then lightly speckled with chartreuse, teal, green and grey. This is a somewhat variegated colourway so please alternate hanks if using more than one each hank is slightly different, as is each
