5x7 Antique Bijar Area Rug test :: sold as-is:: A very old antique Bijar conservatively dating to the 1880s. Colors are phenomenal, particularly the numerous shades of indigo blue, saffron yellow, reds, aubergine and more. The design is hypnotizing. Among the finer Bijar rugs made even during its time: A very fine weave, wool warp, wool pile and wool weft (dyed red). Due to the fine knotting and construction the carpet drapes like a blanket. Stunning in person, ideal for restoration, low traffic
