I believe this daguerreotype dates to April-July
Barnum - serious enough for the showman to drop the potentially profitable Carrie from his roster of performers
An interesting image
and one with a neat studio imprint on the back of a Civil War soldier
and several tiny mold spiders
Post Mortem Woman In Coffin 10” X 8” Old Photo Probably Wisconsin 1910s teacher I believe this daguerreotype datesOriginal gelatin silver photo, older woman in coffin, mounted on its original approximately 10" x 8" gray mount. The back is blank with no location, but I bought this many years ago from an estate sale in Wisconsin, and many of the photos there were marked with Wisconsin cities, mostly Black River Falls (though those were all the standard 6. 5" x 4. 25" cabinet cards). Very good antique condition.. contrast is a shade weak but all details visible.
