Garmin Step Mount strøm Boom tarpaulin in breathable darkEasily mount your compatible 4 , 8 or 12 pin scanning transducer on a step at the back of your boat with this bracket that provides excellent sonar results at low speeds. This mounting protects the transducer from underwater obstructions and does not create drag on the boat. However, when the boat is planing, the transducer will be out of the water with this mounting type and therefore will not scan the bottom.
