Lorde - Virgin (LP) Deathmetal Roots Bloody RootsEvery new album from Lorde is like a liberation. This is truer than ever for Virgin . She frees herself from gender norms and sees the world through a new lens after a few MDMA sessions. On the one hand, Virgin is reminiscent of her second album, Melodrama , but on the other, there's plenty of experimentation. It's a bit Brat , a bit Burial , a bit Imogen Heap , but very Lorde again.
