The jacket is likely to have originally had a belt

The hips are shaped with clever darting just below the waist and there are functional pockets at the hip

The blazer is in very good condition with only a small repair and some marks to the lining as pictured

Some of the buttons have lost their gold colouring (I think I actually prefer them as they are) and there is some later internal overlooking to prevent fraying
