The collar and faux pockets have been trimmed with a silver corded lamé edging and three decorative buttons adorn each waist pocket

however there is some fraying to the lining

This wonderful rectangular was made from black velvet in the 1940s

Four ivory coloured buttons run down the centre of the jacket and end just above the functional waist pockets

This stunning dress has been made from cotton with a bold and colourful floral print

It has been made from a beautiful black satin, has full length sleeves and a pretty ruffled collar. Shoulders: 14 seam to seam Bust: 38 but designed to be worn loose and open. This garment is in good condition, but there is a small hole on the collar and a tiny stain close to the arm seam. Otherwise this is a pretty jacket and a very wearable garment.
