It has hidden hook and eye along the front edges and those large velvet loops and brocade covered buttons at the neck

yarns and laces in unusual ways in a time when these where not typically fashionable fabrics

Limited Edition Lanvin Hawk Stone & Feather Brooch designer-oscar-de-la-renta This is the second timeThis amazing brooch is a limited edition piece from the early 2000s. It is large and bold and beautifully made. The "hawk" head is formed from a blackened silver colored metal that has a good weight to it. This is embossed with enamel, stones and crystals. It wraps around a blue stone that sits inside the head but is not actually attached you can't take it out but it can move freely within its "cage". An amazing plume of glossy black feathers finish.
