1980s Yves Saint Laurent Black Velvet, Lace & Jersey Dress Couture Runway Rare A fantastic late 1950s GalanosThe lines on this little black dress are pure Yves Saint Laurent for this time period. The dress is made from a combination of a inky black velvet that he has used for the upper bodice, a semi transparent lace through the mid riff area and a bandage like jersey knit for the skirt. At the front the neckline dips very low to meet the lace inset that runs around the center of the dress. The sleeves are long and slim with zippers at each cuff. The back is
