The chain can be removed to wear the piece as just a brooch pin. It has faceted milk glass beads that are different size and shapes. The gold tone metal is a true gold color and it is very shiny. My photos may show it as a brass color. It has a large cabochon in the center and slightly smaller ones on each cross piece. A large bar pin backing with a safety catch closure.
